300 Early Donors Exceed Fundraising Goals for 
Commissioner Hardesty’s Re-Election

Portland, OR - Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty, Navy veteran, small business owner, and long-time Oregon civil rights leader exceeded early fundraising goals with over 300 donors for her re-election campaign. 

“These next two years are going to be extremely challenging. I have a vision for Portland to rebuild stronger and more equitable. We can’t allow our progress to be rolled back. I believe I am the right woman for the job, and that Portland City Council needs my voice as we take on serious challenges in the coming budgets and policy agendas.” - Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty

As the first Black woman elected to Portland City Council, Commissioner Hardesty has built consensus to strengthen trust in our public safety system and champion holistic, innovative programs including Portland Street Response and the Portland Clean Energy Fund.
